In a <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StudioMDHR\/status\/1331659104113356801\">letter on social media<\/a>, the founders Chad and Jared Moldenhauer told fans they would just have to wait until 2021 to experience &#8216;The Delicious Last Course&#8217; DLC for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/cuphead\">Cuphead<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8220;true Studio MDHR fashion&#8221; the team isn&#8217;t content with anything but its best work and obviously meeting these high standards this year has been &#8220;extremely challenging&#8221; given the current circumstances. Rather than compromise its vision and get the extra content out this year, the studio has made the &#8220;difficult decision&#8221; to push back the release.<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"7\">\n<p>&#8220;We know many of you have been waiting to return to Inkwell Isles, and our goal is to make the trip back there next year a truly magical one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While the DLC is a continuation of Cuphead and Mugman&#8217;s grand adventure, it&#8217;s also described as a conclusion and that&#8217;s why the studio wants this final chapter to be the best it can possibly be.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2020\/07\/cupheads_delicious_last_course_dlc_will_arrive_when_its_ready\">Back in July<\/a>, Studio MDHR&#8217;s Maja Moldenhauer admitted the team &#8220;probably&#8221; announced the DLC a bit too soon:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p><em>&#8220;it&#8217;s taking us a little longer than we thought, but we want to make it a memorable experience. And to be honest, and I think that we ultimately probably announced it a little bit too early based on when we actually put pencil to paper &#8211; but at the end of the day, we want it to be a fulfilling experience and live upto Cuphead and it will come out when it&#8217;s ready.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>How do you feel about this news?
