The 16-bit horror title, which sees a group of young school students getting picked off by all manner of ghouls and ghosts, is heading to modern platforms with additional content.<\/p>\n<p>This re-release is plainly dubbed Corpse Party (2021). It features all of the content and five main chapters of the original (that is, the game that hit North America <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/games\/corpse_party\/b\/psp\/archive\/2011\/09\/01\/psp-horror-adventure-coming-to-u-s.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">starting in 2011<\/a>) but tacks on 16 \u201cExtra Chapters\u201d that expand the story and feature\u00a0full Japanese voice acting for the first time. The game also includes a pair of episodes that add two new characters and storylines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re new to Corpse Party, it\u2019s a choice-driven adventure game where you guide a party of schoolchildren through their now-haunted elementary school after an occult ritual goes awry. Your decisions\u00a0impact who walks out of the building in one piece, and a plethora of outcomes exist, many of them gruesome. Don&#8217;t let\u00a0Corpse Party\u2019s innocent appearance fool you;\u00a0it can startle you in ways you might not expect. While horror is the star of the show, getting to know the stories and interpersonal relationships of the unlucky youngsters is just as much of a selling point.
