1995\u2019s Mortal Kombat is probably the best video game movie ever (in this editor\u2019s humble opinion<\/a>). Netherrealm Studios clearly recognizes this objective fact and released a skin pack of costumes from the film to celebrate its greatness. Starting today, Mortal Kombat 11 players can rock Johnny Cage\u2019s $500 sunglasses and enjoy Raiden\u2019s sarcastic rasp. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Klassic MK Movie Skin pack not only gives Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, and Raiden their cinematic outfits but they even sport the actors\u2019 likenesses and voices (Bridgette Wilson, Linden Ashby, and Christopher Lambert, respectively). While it\u2019s disappointing to miss out on Robin Shou\u2019s Liu Kang, this pack acts as a great accompaniment to Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa\u2019s Shang Tsung, who served as the central character of the Aftermath campaign expansion. It\u2019s a great idea that somehow hasn\u2019t happened before, and I\u2019d love to see this trend continue with Kitana, Kano, and the ninjas. All that\u2019s left now is to finally get the film\u2019s iconic theme song<\/a> into the game. While you try in vain to get that song out of your head, you can download the Klassic MK Movie Skin Pack right now for $5.99. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cool as this skin pack is, it might be the only kind of Mortal Kombat movie content we get for a good while. The upcoming<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>reboot film<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, which has been in development the last few years, hit a big<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>delay due to the pandemic<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>. Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat 11 recently made the transition over to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X\/S via its Ultimate Edition. The catch-all bundle contains all of the game\u2019s DLC content, Aftermath expansion, and three new characters: Rain<\/a>, Rambo<\/a>, and the much-requested Mileena<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
