Insomniac Games revealed last week that it\u2019s got another superhero game in the works, Marvel\u2019s Wolverine<\/a>. With that excitement came a lot of questions. What style of game will it be? Who\u2019s voicing Logan? Will it be an R-rated gorefest or tonally in the ballpark of Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man? We now have an answer to a couple of those questions.<\/p>\n

Wolverine\u2019s creative director, Brian Horton, took to Twitter<\/a> to announce his role on the project. Horton previously directed Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which prompted a fan to ask if the Wolverine\u2019s scope was similar in size or something bigger. Horton responded by simply stating Wolverine will be \u201cfull size, mature tone.\u201d He doesn\u2019t elaborate beyond that, but I\u2019m sure some fans will breathe easier given some of the online worries that Wolverine might be a sunshine and hugs parade. Now, \u201cMature tone\u201d doesn\u2019t necessarily mean it\u2019ll be M-rated, but we\u2019ll have to wait and see.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Marvel\u2019s Wolverine is currently slated to launch\u00a0on PlayStation 5 but is very early in development and has no release window.\u00a0Insomniac has explained that it is a standalone adventure that sounds like it exists within its own world, likely snuffing out any crossover potential with its Spider-Man universe\u00a0(much to our chagrin<\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to Wolverine, Insomniac also revealed the first trailer and release window for Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man 2. You can read that announcement here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
