As we mentioned earlier today \u2013 admittedly because we were joking about the console being a decent display stand for our beloved GameCubes<\/a> \u2013 the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles have launched today worldwide.<\/p>\n

The systems kick off a whole new generation of gaming, set to be expanded further when the PS5 launches in a couple of days’ time. Whether you play Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, or indeed a combination of the lot, it’s fantastic to see consoles continuing to thrive and be at the centre of our favourite hobby.<\/p>\n

Putting any rivalries aside, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser has captured this spirit nicely today by congratulating Microsoft’s Xbox team and its head, Phil Spencer, on the launch of its latest systems.<\/p>\n
