The feature sadly won\u2019t be there at the game\u2019s launch, though it will arrive later in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K7yJxYIHY5w?feature=oembed\" alt=\"Please accept cookies to see this iframe.\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear whether ray tracing will only be available on PC, but the announcement was made in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ioi.dk\/ioi-intel-hitman3\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">blog post<\/a> discussing a partnership with Intel. <\/p>\n<p>According to IO, the deal will allow the developer to better optimise Hitman 3 for high-end PCs and CPUs with a high core count. Some of the examples given include denser crowds in the game\u2019s Dubai level and better destructibility in Dartmoor for players with 8+ core CPUs.<\/p>\n<p>As for ray tracing, IO didn\u2019t say exactly which parts of the game will be ray traced. The use of ray tracing varies from game to game, of course, but the most impressive examples are typically reflections and global illumination.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, IO promised more details on Hitman 3\u2019s PC version in the coming weeks.
