Greetings sharks! For the past year, the team here at Tripwire and I have been hard at work on this wild DLC idea and I\u2019m extremely excited to bring this to players all over the world.<\/p>\n

Maneater: Truth Quest<\/a><\/em><\/strong> follows Maneater<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u2019s narrator, Trip Westhaven, as he descends into madness after discovering a secret military base off the coast of Port Clovis. It\u2019s up to you, the titular shark, to help Trip get to the bottom of what\u2019s really going on behind the scenes. Is this a true government conspiracy? Has Trip lost his marbles? You\u2019ll have to play to find out.<\/p>\n

Gameplay wise, we\u2019ve built tons of new ways to eat, explore, and evolve in the game that approach the original mechanics in new and interesting ways. In my opinion, they\u2019re totally jaw<\/em>-some.<\/p>\n

Without further ado, here are five jaw-some new features in Maneater: Truth Quest<\/em>!<\/p>\n

The Prologue<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even if you haven\u2019t purchased the DLC, there\u2019s still content coming your way! If you boot up Maneater<\/em> today, you\u2019ll notice a short intro episode in your quest log, which helps set the stage for the events of Truth Quest.<\/p>\n

Atomic Evolution<\/strong><\/p>\n

Featured heavily in the key art for Truth Quest, this brand new Hammerhead inspired evolution packs an otherworldly punch and adds all sorts of new abilities to the main shark. Including a radioactive blast that emerges from the shark\u2019s mouth! Dr. Evil would be so proud. <\/p>\n

\"Maneater:<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Plover Island<\/strong><\/p>\n

A military island steeped in mystery, Plover Island is the object of Trip Westhaven\u2019s obsession. Is there truly evidence of extraterrestrials here? Are wildlife being manipulated? Did we actually land on the moon back in \u201869? Or is Trip just treading water?<\/p>\n

Hidden Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scattered around the new Plover Island military compound and the original Port Clovis are \u201cQuesters\u201d; or fans of Trip Westhaven\u2019s video series. If you\u2019re observant enough to find them, they\u2019ll provide some great rewards. Just remember – tin foil – that is all.<\/p>\n
