Activision Blizzard staff demand &ldquo;a prompt response and a commitment to action from leadership&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>As per the workers, Activision Blizzard&rsquo;s response did not address the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The end of forced arbitration for all employees.<\/li>\n<li>Worker participation in oversight of hiring and promotion policies.<\/li>\n<li>The need for greater pay transparency to ensure equality.<\/li>\n<li>Employee selection of a third party to audit HR and other company processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/activision-blizzard-walkout-organizers-say-koticks-statement-did-not-address-their-demands-1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>This follows yesterday when&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/investor.activision.com\/news-releases\/news-release-details\/letter-ceo-bobby-kotick-all-employees\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kotick addressed a message<\/a>&nbsp;to all employees concerning the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2021\/07\/22\/activision-blizzard-sued-california-sexual-harassment-bullying-allegations\/\">lawsuit brought by the state of California<\/a>&nbsp;over allegations of harassment and bullying last week.&nbsp;&ldquo;Our initial responses to the issues we face together, and to your concerns, were, quite frankly, tone-deaf,&rdquo; he said in the letter.<\/p>\n<p>As&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2021\/07\/27\/activision-blizzard-employee-walkout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Activision Blizzard employees begin staging walkouts in support of the lawsuit and to protest current leadership<\/a>&nbsp;(with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2021\/07\/26\/world-warcraft-development-halted-activision-blizzard-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">production on World of Warcraft apparently having ground to a halt<\/a>), staff threaten that these actions are just the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>Looking forwards, employees seek a fairer, better working environment &ldquo;in favor of better labor conditions for all employees, especially women, in particular women of color and transgender women, nonbinary people, and other marginalized groups.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Closing the letter, the workers&rsquo; group said: &ldquo;Today, we stand up for change.
