The console appears to get stuck in an error loop when downloading games that stops users from actually accessing the title they are downloading. This leaves the download in a sort of limbo where players are unable to cancel it or restart it.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/13\/ps5-suffering-download-queue-bug-requires-factory-reset-fix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony said that the way to fix this was to do a factory reset on your PlayStation 5<\/a> \u2013 not an ideal solution, especially when people have likely just downloaded a whole load of games and updates onto the console\u2019s SSD.<\/p>\n<p>Downloads aren\u2019t the only thing causing problems for the PlayStation 5. The console\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/17\/ps5-rest-mode-problems-turn-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rest Mode also seems to be to blame<\/a> for a lot of issues and might be the root cause of a storage corruption issue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/11\/ps5-died-youtuber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">that bricked a YouTuber\u2019s PS5<\/a> within days of launch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/17\/ps5-firmware-update-20-02-02-25-00\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A new firmware update<\/a> was rolled out for the PlayStation 5 earlier this week, boasting a number of improvements to the hardware\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<p> <\/main> <\/p>\n<footer readability=\"1.738219895288\">\n<div readability=\"7.8219895287958\">\n<p class=\"affiliate-disclaimer\">Sometimes we include links to online retail stores.
