According to figures posted by SteamDB<\/a>, during the first 24 hours of Resident Evil Village landing on Steam, the game hit 101,726 concurrent players.<\/p>\n

This is the best launch day for a Resident Evil game on the service, compared to recent releases in the series. <\/p>\n

The previous record-holder for launch day was Resident Evil Remake with 74,277 concurrent users, followed by Resident Evil 3 Remake with 60,293. <\/p>\n

Resident Evil 7 saw 20,449 folks playing the game on launch day and Resident Evil 6 had 11,879 concurrent users at launch. <\/p>\n

As of press time, Resident Evil Village is the ninth most played game on Steam with 84,085 concurrent users<\/a>. <\/p>\n
