Apex Legends and Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment is working on a new IP. <\/p>\n

According to a tweet<\/a> from Respawn programmer Steven Kah Hien Wong, the game is in the early stages, and the current team is very small. The studio is looking to hire a coder.<\/p>\n

The tweet was retweeted by Respawn boss Vince Zampella<\/a> who said the new project was “super exciting stuff.”<\/p>\n

New IP means this particular team isn’t working on the Titanfall or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order IPs, obviously. Plus, about a year ago, Zampella confirmed that there are currently no Titanfall games in development<\/a>. Whether things have changed or not remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

Further details on the new project were not provided, and whether this is the same game the team was hiring for a few months back<\/a> is also not known, but it’s a probability.<\/p>\n

Respawn is currently busy with Apex Legends and is getting ready to launch Season 9<\/a> of the game. You can expect the new Legend Valkyrie, a new weapon called the Bockek Bow, and an infestation taking place over Olympus.<\/p>\n

Apex Legends: Legacy will launch on May 4 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X\/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam.<\/p>\n
