In the first of a new vlog series, creative director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lQ6d-qvTjKQ\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Gallegos<\/a> said that the game is preparing to move into &#8220;early access 2.0,&#8221; which Unknown Worlds is calling its &#8220;most substantial update&#8221; since the game hit last May.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;EA 2, as we call it, is going to be an update that adds not only a complete new playable region with several new biomes within it, but it&#8217;s also going to add a lot of new story elements,&#8221; said Gallegos. That means more tales of the good ship Cicada&#8217;s colonists and the game&#8217;s &#8220;other beings.&#8221; There will also be new creatures for you to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/survival-crafting\/you-still-cant-kill-fish-in-subnautica-2-but-starting-tomorrow-youll-at-least-be-able-to-stun-them\/\">not kill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But\u2014and it is October, after all\u2014the most intriguing thing Gallegos promises is that &#8220;this is one of our scariest regions we&#8217;ve ever done.&#8221; It&#8217;s dark and filled with things that mean you ill. &#8220;It&#8217;s dark, it&#8217;s threatening, and it&#8217;s really beautiful at the same time,&#8221; said Gallegos, who might possibly have been describing me. <\/p>\n<p>Oh, and if you&#8217;re a fan of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/survival-crafting\/subnautica-2-devs-reveal-the-latest-horrifying-leviathan-to-grace-the-deep-sea-it-has-4-tentacles-to-grab-crush-swat-and-terrify-players\/\">Collector Leviathan<\/a>, Unknown Worlds is updating its behaviour to make it &#8220;scarier than ever,&#8221; though it does not say how.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height: 250px;\">\n<div class=\"kwizly-quiz kwizly-ON92mW\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p> <script src=\"https:\/\/kwizly.com\/embed\/ON92mW.js\" async><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Aside from that? Some new gadgets to muck about with, new biomods, and a change to how dash works. You&#8217;re getting a new chassis for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/survival-crafting\/subnautica-2-tadpole-scan-locations\/\">Tadpole<\/a>, called the frog chassis, which will give you the benefit of arms and legs. As for dash?
