{"id":1706939,"date":"2026-10-01T20:26:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T20:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4K645UgovAtoYZC6ASXKLa"},"modified":"2026-10-01T20:26:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T20:26:10","slug":"more-than-450-witcher-3-mods-have-already-been-updated-to-support-the-remastered-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arcader.org\/news\/more-than-450-witcher-3-mods-have-already-been-updated-to-support-the-remastered-version\/","title":{"rendered":"More than 450 Witcher 3 mods have already been updated to support the Remastered version"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>In the mere two days since The Witcher 3: Remastered released on PC, its Nexus Mods page has been a hive of activity, featuring updates for all sorts of customization packages for the game\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/the-witcher\/great-news-cowards-the-witcher-3s-most-yellow-bellied-mod-is-ready-for-the-remaster\/\">including ones you&#8217;ll only install if you&#8217;re a coward<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>By my count, more than 450 Witcher 3 mods are either newly released or updated since September 29, an overwhelming number if you thought you&#8217;d just poke your head in and see what&#8217;s been going on. One thing that&#8217;s going on is that a lot of mods are now using AI image generation to create thumbnails that immediately give me the ick. Why create a fake, AI-glazed screenshot for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/witcher3\/mods\/13194?tab=posts&#038;BH=0\">your HUD mod<\/a> when we all know what The Witcher 3 actually looks like? Baffling!<\/p>\n<p>Another thing that&#8217;s going on, thankfully, is that some modders with names like GrimReaper2121 are still putting in good work with creations such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/witcher3\/mods\/13227\">De-mastered Geralt<\/a>.
