Valheim 1.0 changed a ton about viking survival, but some things remain the same\u2014like my tendency to repeatedly die to fall damage in the Mistlands. A new item helps traverse all those foggy marble mountains and steep drop-offs, but I didn’t find it until I was ready to leave the biome. Find Hooks to unlock the Grappling Hook blueprint<\/h3>\n

You can find Hooks in the Infested Mines<\/strong>, the Mistlands’ bug-riddled dungeons that are just as difficult to navigate as the rest of the biome. I cleared out several dungeons before stumbling upon one with a hidden stone door that I almost skipped, but realized those glowing blue glyphs must mean something<\/em>. <\/p>\n

The Hooks were inside a Dvergr Treasure Chest sitting beside other valuables, like Black Cores. I scoured a few more dungeons later and found a couple stacks of three Hooks, but you’ll only need one per craft to make the Grappling Hook. <\/p>\n
