The internet is burning with speculation regarding the recent GTA 6 leaked footage<\/a>, particularly as it appears to have been sourced from someone playing an actual build<\/a>, rather than leaked video from Rockstar itself.<\/p>\n

While we’ve been pouring over the videos and pulling out some of the juicy in-game details<\/a> for ourselves, I’ve also seen some discussion regarding whether the footage was captured from a PC version of the game.<\/p>\n

Multiple game devs responded to this publicly, and 2 in DM\u2019s at major studios. It appears this GTA 6 leaked footage is from the PC version, and not console. https:\/\/t.co\/yJKxPcTydHAugust 20, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n

Putting aside the dubiousness of “I have devs in my DMs,” I’d say this is probably likely to be correct, as others have suggested<\/a>. It’s either that, or the leaker has access to a console devkit\u2014which seems less likely than a development build that runs on a PC being passed around behind the scenes. <\/p>\n
