Finding all the Mayan stone locations<\/strong> is one of your big distractions while sailing the Caribbean in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced<\/a>, and it’s mostly unchanged from the original game. You still need to solve 16 of these stele to complete the Mayan Mystery<\/strong> task and unlock the Mayan Armour, one of the best outfits<\/a>. But just like the treasure maps<\/a>, a few locations have shifted around in the remake.<\/p>\n

While you might have stumbled upon some of these Mayan sculptures beforehand, you need to complete This Old Cove during the main story<\/strong> to be able to interact with the stele. James Kidd will explain how they work but, basically, you just need to climb to the top of the sculpture, interact with it, rotate the pattern until it aligns with the glowing objects, then grab the Mayan stone.<\/p>\n

You need to collect 16 Mayan stones from the stele across the map in order to open the door guarding the Mayan Armour in Tulum, which you’ll have access to after completing the main missions Nothing is True and Overrun And Outnumbered<\/strong>. This unique outfit now comes with a charm that houses its old perk of deflecting projectiles. That means you can gain the benefits of the armour without necessarily wearing the silly costume.<\/p>\n
