Unfortunately, the remake has been delayed &#8211; however, you won&#8217;t have to wait long as the release has only been pushed back two months.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A message from The Sands of Time dev team\u00a0was posted to Twitter today stating, &#8220;we wanted to let you know that we are taking additional time to work on the game&#8230;we believe that this is the right call to ensure we will deliver a game you will enjoy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tw-align-center twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">An update from the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake dev team: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zKCoJPkzmM\">pic.twitter.com\/zKCoJPkzmM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Prince of Persia (@princeofpersia) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/princeofpersia\/status\/1336354862838124544?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 8, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The last Prince of Persia installment dropped over a decade ago. Ubisoft has since shifted gears to focus on its\u00a0acclaimed Assassin&#8217;s Creed franchise as well as tactical shooters like The Division and Rainbow Six: Siege. Even though the delay might be deflating to some fans, it&#8217;s nice to know that The Sands of Time Remake will be playable very soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was originally planned for a January 2021 release but the delay pushes the launch date to March 18, 2021.
