Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, PC Gamer’s 2025 game of the year<\/a> and absolute all-timer, has hit the 6 million copies sold landmark. If you recall, this is the game that implemented a shoe-stealing system<\/a> because of a PC Gamer article. So, if you think about it, it’s almost like we’ve<\/em> reached 6 million copies sold, right? Congratulations to us (this is a joke).<\/p>\n

For reference, the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance took six years<\/a> to reach this milestone, while Henry’s second outing has managed it in about a year and a half. It’s no surprise: KCD2 is, in many ways, KCD1 with more spit and polish (but with just as much obsessive attention to detail and humour).<\/p>\n

“None of this would have been possible without the passion and support of the ever-growing Kingdom Come: Deliverance community,” said publisher Deep Silver<\/a>. “From day one, players have ridden alongside Henry on this journey, and Warhorse Studios looks forward to celebrating with fans throughout the summer at events, concerts, and community gatherings.” <\/p>\n

Oh, and just in case that community’s attention was starting to wander, it reminds us that “Warhorse Studios looks to the future with two newly announced open-world RPGs\u2014including a new Kingdom Come adventure and a journey into Middle-earth.”<\/p>\n

If you don’t remember, Warhorse revealed that it was working on something new and Kingdom Come-branded last month<\/a>, and also announced a new “open world Middle-earth RPG”. That’s all the info we have so far, but you can consider me very eager to hear more. I want to beat Feanor at Farkle so hard he declares a blutrache<\/em> that lasts for 6,000 years. Then I’ll utilise my high Thief skill to steal his big stupid gems, too.<\/p>\n
