With the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2020\/11\/20\/winter-animal-crossing-new-horizons-update-changes-time-travel\">new update<\/a>, the Pond Smelt can be found in rivers alongside Lobsters for divers and the Dung Beetle later this month.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2020\/12\/07\/animal-crossing-new-horizons-december-update-revealed-in-new-video\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to watch embedded media<\/a><\/p>\n<p>While that&#8217;s cool and all, we all know what gets us the most excited: events. December brings in the Toy Day event, bringing in that holiday cheer and allowing players to decorate their islands with new DIY recipes, festive additions, and new flair to get the entire town into that holiday spirit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>New toys will also be available to buy from Nook&#8217;s Cranny in addition to festive outfits found at Able Sisters. Even though players have been getting into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2020\/11\/16\/christmas-comes-early-to-animal-crossing-new-horizons-as-player-islands-get-festive\">the holly jolly spirit since as early as October<\/a>, the fun officially begins this month, including Christmas trees and holiday cheer galore.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In addition to what&#8217;s coming to the simulation game this month, Nintendo also offered a small tease for what&#8217;s next for the popular game, including what 2021&#8217;s first event will be.
