The Mortal Kombat movie drops next month<\/a> and to celebrate, we’ve got a brand new poster that offers up our first look at Kabal. Kitana, Cole Young, Sonya Blade, and more are front and center, but let’s be real: you’re looking at Kabal.\u00a0<\/p>\n The official Mortal Kombat movie Twitter account shared the new poster with the telltale tagline “Get over here!” Sub-Zero and Scorpion are in the spotlight, but seeing Shang Tsung, Jax Briggs, Sony Blade, Mileena, and Cole Young is pretty nifty as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n Choose your fighter: Cole Young. Each individual poster showed off a particular kharacter and overall? Longtime fans were impressed.\u00a0<\/p>\n New Line Cinema previously revealed the film’s synopsis back in January of this year, offering a detailed look at what the newest cinematic take on the popular fighting franchise will bring to the table. According to the studio:\u00a0<\/p>\n In Mortal Kombat,\u00a0MMA fighter\u00a0Cole Young, accustomed to taking a beating for money, is unaware of his heritage\u2014or why Outworld\u2019s Emperor\u00a0Shang Tsung\u00a0has sent his best warrior,\u00a0Sub-Zero, an otherworldly Cryomancer, to hunt Cole down. Fearing for his family\u2019s safety, Cole goes in search of\u00a0Sonya Blade\u00a0at the direction of\u00a0Jax, a Special Forces Major who bears the same strange dragon marking Cole was born with. Soon, he finds himself at the temple of\u00a0Lord Raiden, an Elder God and the protector of Earthrealm, who grants sanctuary to those who bear the mark.
