It&#8217;s pretty brutal.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is absolutely disgusting to see in a Battlefield game,&#8221; Ok_Paramedic4770 says. &#8220;And this is coming from someone who plays COD. Something needs to be done about this. I don&#8217;t want anything reminding me of COD gameplay when I&#8217;m playing a Battlefield game for an immersive experience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-card\" ><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Battlefield6\/comments\/1odx37z\/this_is_absolutely_disgusting_to_see_in_a\">This is absolutely disgusting to see in a Battlefield game..<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Battlefield6\">r\/Battlefield6<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/embed.redditmedia.com\/widgets\/platform.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>When DICE spent the lead-up to Battlefield 6&#8217;s launch hyping players up with ideas of how Battlefield 6 brings the series back to its OG grounded roots with trailers <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/fps\/battlefield-6-makes-fun-of-cod-blows-up-zac-efron-and-a-load-of-other-celebs-while-players-whoop-and-cheer\/\">poking fun at COD&#8217;s ridiculous skins<\/a>, it&#8217;s not surprising that this kind of movement tech would set some Battlefield veterans on edge..<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You should not be able to jump from a slide and also go from jump to a slide,&#8221; one <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Battlefield6\/comments\/1odx37z\/comment\/nkx9kbm\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web3x&#038;utm_name=web3xcss&#038;utm_term=1&#038;utm_content=share_button\" target=\"_blank\">player says<\/a>. Someone else suggested that instead of actually getting ridiculous mobility, players should just faceplant if they attempt a move like this, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Battlefield6\/comments\/1odx37z\/comment\/nkxmz91\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web3x&#038;utm_name=web3xcss&#038;utm_term=1&#038;utm_content=share_button\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;giving us a concussed effect.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Others <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Battlefield6\/comments\/1odx37z\/comment\/nkxkhah\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web3x&#038;utm_name=web3xcss&#038;utm_term=1&#038;utm_content=share_button\" target=\"_blank\">point out<\/a> that this rapid fellow is level 105 already: &#8220;That&#8217;s possibly the worst part of the video. Guy must have spent every waking moment in-game since launch.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>These complaints come amid another controversy that&#8217;s unfolding in Battlefield 6 right now: the sparkly skins. Alright, the skin is shiny, but it is bright blue, and players aren&#8217;t happy; some have even condemned those who wear it to <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/fps\/i-will-not-revive-anyone-wearing-this-skin-battlefield-6-players-blast-an-upcoming-blue-camo-skin-they-believe-already-breaks-dices-grounded-cosmetics-promise\/\">a life with no revives<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is all to say that despite a fantastic reception, Battlefield 6 is in a slightly precarious position. By marketing itself on what it is not, it&#8217;s created a rather slim road ahead for itself: one that has to thread the gap between player expectation and profitability..
