To make matters worse, Gizmodo <a href=\"https:\/\/gizmodo.com\/microsoft-says-xbox-series-x-and-s-shortages-could-last-1845698154?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=SocialMarketing&amp;utm_campaign=dlvrit&amp;utm_content=gizmodo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reports<\/a> that these console shortages could last through Spring 2021.<\/p>\n<p>According to Gizmodo, Xbox CFO Tim Stuart gave a recent talk&nbsp;at the Jefferies Interactive Entertainment Conference. His words, transcribed by <a href=\"https:\/\/seekingalpha.com\/article\/4388809-microsoft-corporation-msft-management-presents-jefferies-interactive-entertainment-virtual?part=single\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seeking Alpha<\/a>, gave some insight into the Series X\/S dilemma and confirm that the consoles might not be widely available&nbsp;until after the holidays, &#8220;I think we\u2019ll continue to see supply shortages as we head into the post-holiday quarter.&#8221; Gizmodo states that this ultimately equates to March 31, 2021 &#8211; the end of Microsoft&#8217;s fiscal&nbsp;calendar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Stuart goes on to say that, starting in April, Microsoft will&nbsp;be in a position to meet Series X\/S demand,&nbsp;\u201call of our supply chain [will continue] to go full speed heading into the pre-summer months.&#8221; Overall, this news might be deflating for gamers who have been looking to get their hands on the next-gen consoles.
