As we\u2019re talking about a <strong>level 50 Raid Boss<\/strong>, it\u2019s best to wait until level 60 or so before taking on this multi-eyed <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/game\/terraria\/1291\">Terraria<\/a><\/em>-inspired monster, but once you\u2019ve gained enough experience, it\u2019s well worth the effort.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Craft the required summoning item, bring a bunch of battle-hardened Pals, and find the boss\u2019s weak points; here\u2019s how to summon and fight the Moon Lord in <em>Palword<\/em>.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to find the Moon Lord in Palworld<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Like all Raid Bosses in <em>Palworld<\/em>, the Moon Lord doesn\u2019t have a set location, but must instead be summoned at a <strong>Summoning Altar<\/strong>. You can unlock the research schematic for the Summoning Altar at Technology Level 32, using three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/palworld-guides\/24055957\/technology-tree-pal-unlocks-equips\">Ancient Technology Points<\/a>. It costs 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragments to build it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">It\u2019s best to place the Summoning Altar in an<strong> empty base<\/strong> in a low-level location. That way, the Moon Lord won\u2019t destroy any valuables, and you won\u2019t be bothered by other dangerous Pals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">To summon the Moon Lord, you must place a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/palworld-guides\/610313\/celestial-sigils-location-hallowed-bars\">Celestial Sigil<\/a><\/strong> on your Summoning Altar. You can take a look at our guide on how to get Celestial Sigils for more details, but in short, you should head inside the <strong>Sealed Realm of Terraria<\/strong> (see map location below), collect Hallowed Bars, and defeat the Eye of Chtulhu boss to obtain Celestial Sigil Schematics. Use a crafting bench to turn 100 Hallowed Bars into a Celestial Sigil, then offer this Sigil at the Summoning Altar to spawn the boss.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/how-to-fight-the-moon-lord-in-palworld-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to beat the Moon Lord in Palworld<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Since the Moon Lord is a <strong>Raid Boss<\/strong>, he cannot be captured (sorry!). The Moon Lord has <strong>three weak points<\/strong> in the form of large eyes: one is placed on his forehead, and the other two are on the palms of his hands (see picture below). Beware that you can\u2019t damage the eyes when they\u2019re closed. As they\u2019re constantly blinking, be ready to fire as soon as they open. Once the eyes are destroyed,<strong> the Moon Lord\u2019s heart<\/strong> will be exposed through the opening in his chest. Hit the heart, and the Moon Lord shall be defeated.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/how-to-fight-the-moon-lord-in-palworld-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Since the Moon Lord <strong>doesn\u2019t have any elemental weaknesses<\/strong>, it\u2019s best to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/palworld-guides\/24047325\/pals-list-types-elements-base-skills-paldeck\">bring your most powerful combat Pals<\/a> to the fight, regardless of their elemental type. Forward laser beam attacks, such as Dark Laser or Pal Blast, are particularly effective since they can hit the Moon Lord\u2019s weak spots more easily. To help you hit the Moon Lord in his weak spots, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/palworld-guides\/24047076\/flying-mounts-locations-fastest-saddle\">use a flying mount<\/a> like the Jetdragon, but don\u2019t forget that aimed attacks are preferable over wider area-of-effect attacks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As for <strong>weapons<\/strong>, bring your best ranged ones. The Plasma Cannon and Charge Rifle are excellent options, though beware of the charging time on that last one \u2014 it\u2019ll require proper timing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Beware of the <strong>floating eyeballs<\/strong> summoned by the Moon Lord throughout this fight; after hovering in the air for a while, they\u2019ll shoot straight towards you. Likewise, the Moon Lord shoots a <strong>laser beam<\/strong> from his forehead that follows you around the battlefield, so keep moving!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/how-to-fight-the-moon-lord-in-palworld-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Upon defeat, the Moon Lord drops a randomized selection of fruit, lotuses, pendants, and Training Crystals. You also have a chance to obtain the <strong>Legendary Meowmere<\/strong> weapon and <strong>Moon Lord Mask<\/strong>.
