Hrothgar and Viera characters will soon be able to display the headgear they\u2019re wearing as part of Patch 7.3, Square Enix confirmed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Hrothgar and Viera have had limited headgear options since the two races were introduced to <em>Final Fantasy 14<\/em> in 2019\u2019s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/reviews\/2019\/7\/9\/20687643\/final-fantasy-14-shadowbringers-review\">Shadowbringers<\/a><\/em> expansion. But since the furry friends have \u201cunique heads\u201d \u2014&nbsp;with cat ears and bunny ears, respectively \u2014&nbsp;some cosmetic headgear hasn\u2019t been available to them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">That will change soon, and Square Enix is promising that \u201cfurther support for headgear, including helmets, will be added in future updates.\u201d Hopefully, Square Enix is prioritizing the paid cosmetic outfits that its selling that Hrothgar and Viera can\u2019t currently wear.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div>\n<div><iframe title=\"FINAL FANTASY XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXVII\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Zg-LRoukGVo?rel=0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"accelerometer *; clipboard-write *; encrypted-media *; gyroscope *; picture-in-picture *; web-share *;\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Of course, as important as hats for feline and lupine fantasy friends are, that\u2019s not the only thing <em>FF14<\/em> producer\/director Naoki Yoshida and global community producer Toshio Murouchi revealed during Friday\u2019s Letter from the Producer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Patch 7.3, known as The Promise of Tomorrow, will feature the main scenario quest that serves as the finale of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/23811679\/final-fantasy-14-dawntrail-expansion-2024-release-date-ff14\">Dawntrail<\/a><\/em> story.
