Blitz Royale is Fortnite<\/em> as you know it, but at a much<\/em> faster pace. Blitz Royale is meant for those on the go as each game can take five minutes or less. Although Blitz Royale is \u201cmade for mobile,\u201d it\u2019s available on every platform. As Blitz Royale will only be around until July 15, each week will feature an event to make your battles even more interesting.<\/p>\n

What is Blitz Royale in Fortnite?<\/h2>\n

Blitz Royale is a Zero Build mode that pits 32 players against each other <\/strong>on a tiny map featuring fan favorite locations, Pleasant Park and Retail Row. Blitz Royale is available until Tuesday, July 15 and can be played as a solo, duo, or squad.<\/p>\n

As Blitz Royale games are meant to be quick, every player will start the game with the same medallion or unique weapon \u2014 allowing you to immediately get into the fray.<\/p>\n

To make things even faster, Blitz Royale incentivizes you to hunt down your enemies with the introduction of Blitz Level<\/strong>, which is a new system that will reward you with powerful weapons and boons as long as you\u2019re eliminating opponents and surviving storm circles. As you gain more Blitz Levels, you\u2019ll gain more weapons and boons \u2014 making you a force to be reckoned with.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re having a hard time increasing your Blitz Level, you can get your hands on strong weapons and buffs through other means. There are a lot of golden chests containing power-ups scattered around the map, and periodically golden supply drops will fall out of the sky and grant you more medallions.<\/p>\n
