Skybound Games revealed Invincible VS<\/em>, an original 2D tag-fighting game, on Sunday at Microsoft\u2019s Xbox Games Showcase. Invincible VS<\/em> will bring together heroes and villains like Omni-Man, Invincible, Atom Eve, Thula, and Bulletproof for highly destructive, three-versus-three action when it\u2019s released in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n

And, yes, as demonstrated in the reveal trailer for Invincible VS<\/em>, Skybound\u2019s new fighting game will be just as bloody as the Robert Kirkman-created<\/a> Invincible<\/a><\/em> comic book and animated series from which it\u2019s adapted. Based on the game\u2019s debut trailer, it also appears that some voice actors, like J.K. Simmons, will reprise their onscreen roles.<\/p>\n

Polygon saw Invincible VS<\/em> in May and spoke with the developer behind it; we\u2019ll have more information on the game in coming days.<\/p>\n

Skybound Games has released only a handful of games based on the Invincible property, including Invincible Presents: Atom Eve<\/em>, a visual novel that lets players explore the life of Atom Eve, and Invincible: Guarding the Globe<\/em>, a squad-based idle role-playing game for mobile devices. Invincible<\/em>\u2019s Omni-Man has appeared in Mortal Kombat 1<\/em> as part of that game\u2019s first Kombat Pack<\/a>, and in Fortnite<\/em> as a guest character<\/a> alongside Invincible and Atom Eve.<\/p>\n

Skybound\u2019s reveal of Invincible VS<\/em> comes just days after the reveal of another superhero tag-based fighter, Marvel T\u014dkon: Fighting Souls<\/a>, <\/em>which ups the ante by being 4v4 tag-fighter. <\/p>\n
