How to unlock the Rainbow Road in Mario Kart World<\/h2>\n

The Rainbow Road becomes available only after you have unlocked the Special Cup in the Grand Prix mode<\/strong>. It appears as an option for you after completing all the other seven cups. Here\u2019s a list of all cups you need to finish:<\/p>\n

  2. Flower Cup<\/li>\n
  3. Star Cup<\/li>\n
  4. Shell Cup<\/li>\n
  5. Banana Cup<\/li>\n
  6. Leaf Cup<\/li>\n

    It doesn\u2019t matter what CC you play the cup on, and it doesn\u2019t matter if you even place in the race. You just need to play<\/em> each cup.<\/p>\n

    Like the other cups, the Special Cup has four tracks: Acorn Heights, Mario Circuit, Peach Stadium, with Rainbow Road being the last one.<\/p>\n

    How to play Rainbow Road in Mario Kart World<\/h2>\n

    Once you have raced through Rainbow Road once and beat the Special Cup, you might want to give the course another try. We have tested and can confirm that you can enjoy this track by replaying the Special Cup in the Grand Prix mode<\/strong> or selecting it in VS Race mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    According to some Reddit users<\/a>, Rainbow Road can <\/em>also appear in online play if you\u2019re lucky. In online races, you can vote for one between three tracks randomly selected<\/strong> by the game, or you can pick \u201crandom.\u201d If Rainbow Road comes among the first options, you can just select that \u2014 but the track may not be picked, since the game chooses randomly from what the players voted for.<\/p>\n

    If you are really burning to race Rainbow Road in an online lobby, your best bet is to vote \u201crandom\u201d if Rainbow Road doesn\u2019t come up as an actual option, since this can roll maps that weren\u2019t among the initial voting options.<\/p>\n
