If you don\u2019t already have a Dynamax Inteleon, do not bother building one now (unless you\u2019re sitting on tons of Sobble Candy), as Gigantamax Inteleon will be showing up <em>literally<\/em> next.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">For defenders\/tanks, bring one or two of the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dynamax Blissey<\/strong> with Pound<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dynamax Zapdos<\/strong> with Thunder Shock<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dynamax\/Gigantamax Blastoise<\/strong> with Water Gun<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dynamax\/Gigantamax Charizard<\/strong> with Dragon Breath<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">These guys\u2019 job is just to soak up the damage from Cinderace while generating as much energy as possible with their fast attacks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">These counters are pretty straightforward, though note that the Zapdos is kind of just there to withstand the damage if the Cinderace you\u2019re going against knows Focus Blast, as that could possibly give your Blissey a tough time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Consider just bringing the&nbsp;<em>strongest<\/em>&nbsp;Dynamax or Gigantamax Pok\u00e9mon you have. If you have a maxed out Gigantamax Gengar and your Dynamax Excadrill isn\u2019t leveled (and you don\u2019t have the means to power it up), just bring your Gengar.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"general-gigantamax-cinderace-tips\">General Gigantamax Cinderace tips<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">If you\u2019ve been struggling in Max Battles, here\u2019s some general tips to survive \u2014 and make sure you\u2019re an asset to your team. Gigantamax battles involve way more strategy than the usual rampant tapping that you do in raids, so make sure to know what you\u2019re doing before jumping in.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Make sure you have enough players.<\/strong>&nbsp;High-efficiency groups with maxed out investments can take down the Cinderace with fewer people, but practically, if you don\u2019t have hundreds of spare candy and even more Stardust laying around, this isn\u2019t going to be an option for you. Make sure you have as many people as possible to ensure that you get your soccer bunny.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t sleep on Max Spirit and Max Guard<\/strong>. Teams work best when there\u2019s a variety of moves, not just maxed-out attacks. Each player should bring Pok\u00e9mon with the defensive and healing moves unlocked as well. Max Guard will focus single-target damage towards you and reduce the damage taken; Max Spirit will heal the whole party. These moves are really important to make sure your damage-dealers can keep dishing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Remember to swap to super effective moves when it\u2019s time to Dynamax<\/strong>. For&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/449273\/dynamax-pokemon-get-catch-max-battles\">Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>, their max moves are determined by whatever type their fast move is. This means if you have a Darmanitan with Fire Fang, it will know Max Flare. A Gengar with Lick will know Max Phantasm. Take advantage of this and make sure to swap to a Pok\u00e9mon that will deal super effective damage to your target before Dynamaxing, if you can.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Focus on your fast moves<\/strong>. You want to spam your fast moves to build up that Dynamax meter and often times, using your charge move is actually a DPS loss when compared to the damage you could be doing with your max move will be. Spam those attacks!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Level up a few \u2018mons, but you don\u2019t have to go too hard<\/strong>. Depending on your group size, you absolutely do not need to max out all your Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon to level 40-50. While this will make it easier on the rest of your group, if this isn\u2019t an investment you can make, you don\u2019t have to stress about it. Power things up as high as you can afford to, but don\u2019t fret if you don\u2019t have a maxed out Pok\u00e9mon.<\/li>\n<li>All of that said,&nbsp;<strong>make sure to come as prepared as you can be<\/strong>. This is a team effort and there\u2019s a chance that a full group of four can still fail. Do not just bring your unleveled&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/447546\/to-the-max-special-research-quest-rewards\">Dynamax Wooloo<\/a>&nbsp;expecting a free ride to a powerful Pok\u00e9mon. (After all, if&nbsp;<em>everyone<\/em>&nbsp;does that, then you certainly won\u2019t clear the battle.)
