\u201cWisdom of the Ages\u201d<\/strong> is a side quest in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered<\/em> that challenges the hero to be faithful to the teachings of Julianos.<\/p>\n

By speaking with Sir Henrick<\/strong>, the hero can go to Fort Bulwark and retrieve the Shield of the Crusader<\/strong> \u2014 a powerful early-game shield. But you\u2019ll have to navigate a series of puzzles to get it.<\/p>\n

Our Oblivion Remastered<\/em> gives you a full \u201cWisdom of the Ages\u201d walkthrough<\/strong>, including where to start the quest and how to solve all Fort Bulwark puzzles<\/strong> in order to reach the Shield of the Crusader at the end of it.<\/p>\n

How to start \u2018Wisdom of the Ages\u2019 in Oblivion Remastered<\/h2>\n

To start \u201cWisdom of the Ages,\u201d you must complete the \u201cPilgrimage\u201d and \u201cShrine of the Crusader\u201d quests first. Once those two are complete, you can start the \u201cPriory of the Nine\u201d quest. Partway through \u201cPriory of the Nine,\u201d speak with Sir Henrick after defeating him, and he will give you the location of the Shield of the Crusader, which is in Fort Bulwark<\/strong>. \u201cWisdom of the Ages\u201d runs concurrently with \u201cPriory of the Nine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fort Bulwark is near the southeast corner of the map near the Blackwood region. In the Quests menu, you can simply highlight \u201cWisdom of the Ages\u201d and it will mark Fort Bulwark on your map, or you can look at the screenshot above.<\/p>\n

\n

\u2018Wisdom of Ages\u2019 walkthrough in Oblivion Remastered<\/h2>\n

\u201cWisdom of Ages\u201d consists of three puzzles, all of which are in Fort Bulwark. You\u2019ll start by having to correctly step on a series of tiles. You\u2019ll then need to make rotate statues into a particular order. You\u2019ll finish with a puzzle that requires you to step on certain panels in a particular order to find items in various chests.<\/p>\n

Below, we\u2019ll show you how to solve all puzzles in Fort Bulwark so you can complete \u201cWisdom of Ages.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tile order puzzle solution in \u2018Wisdom of Ages\u2019<\/h3>\n

After entering Fort Bulwark, make your way to the middle where you\u2019ll see two giant flames while fighting Conjurers along the way. Be careful, as there are some booby traps that\u2019ll shoot arrows out of the walls.<\/p>\n

\"Two<\/p>\n

When you come across the room with the two giant flames, make your way across \u2014 you\u2019ll then enter an area with two Conjurers. After taking them out, you\u2019ll need to activate a handle at the back of the area to open up a gated door nearby.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Go through the newly opened path and until you come across another handle. Activate it to lower the drawbridge near the two giant flames. Go back to the room with the two flames and cross the drawbridge.<\/p>\n

\"Four<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll come across a puzzle with 12 tiles in a 3×4 fashion. You need to step on one tile per row<\/strong>. The correct order<\/strong> is listed below and pictured above:<\/p>\n
