The new Master Chief adventure was supposed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X, but the developers felt it required more time to get right.<\/p>\n<p>Of particular note is Jarrard\u2019s use of the word \u201crestart\u201d to describe the official press around Halo Infinite. After a tepid gameplay demo reveal, 343 has taken Halo Infinite back into development and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/halo-veteran-joseph-staten-joins-343-industries-to-get-halo-infinite-back-on-track\">hired Halo series veterans like Joseph Staten<\/a> to bring the title \u201cback on track.\u201d<output class=\"article-video-container\"><\/output>It\u2019s unclear what the current state of Halo Infinite is, the developers are clearly taking the feedback from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/halo-infinite-gameplay-demo-early-work-in-progress-build\">gameplay reveal<\/a>, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/halo-infinite-developer-343-industries-addresses-graphics-multiplayer-beta-and-microtransactions\">criticized for its art style and fidelity<\/a>, during this summer\u2019s Xbox Games showcase seriously.<br \/>\n<em>Matt T.M.
