Microchips<\/strong> are items in Blue Prince<\/a><\/em> that you probably won\u2019t even know you need. They\u2019re not involved in reaching Room 46<\/a>, but they are part of the game\u2019s larger, post-credits mystery and story.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll learn about the Microchips once you reach the Blackbridge Grotto \u2014 one of the game\u2019s Permanent Additions<\/a>. There are three of them, and once you find all three, you\u2019ll be able to complete this puzzle.<\/p>\n

How to reach Blackbridge Grotto in Blue Prince<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

One of Blue Prince<\/em>\u2019s permanent additions, Blackbridge Grotto, is unlocked by solving the Laboratory puzzles. You\u2019ll have to draft both the Laboratory and the Boiler Room and then route power to the Laboratory. You\u2019ll also have to solve the periodic table puzzle to find the solution to the machinery in the corner, which our guide on Laboratory puzzles<\/a> can help you complete.<\/p>\n

Where to find the first Microchip in Blue Prince<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Once you\u2019ve unlocked Blackbridge Grotto unlocked, you\u2019ll be able to find the first Microchip.<\/p>\n

Head out the front door onto the Grounds. Take a left like you\u2019re heading toward the Campsite or the Apple Orchard<\/a>. On the way, you\u2019ll pass a newly opened door on your left. That\u2019s the entrance to Blackbridge Grotto.<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

Inside, you\u2019ll find a pedestal with three overlapping circles carved into the top. In the smallest, you\u2019ll find the first Microchip<\/strong>. If you pick it up, just put it back \u2014 that\u2019s where it belongs.<\/p>\n

\n

Microchip #2 and #3 clues in Blue Prince<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

Finding the other two Microchips means finding some clues. And what better place to look than in a book titled \u201cA New Clue.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

To purchase it, you\u2019ll need to draft a Bookstore<\/strong>. Do that and you can pick it up for 50 coins<\/strong>. When you draft a Library, you can check it out, and then read it the next time you draft the Library.<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a lot<\/em> going on in \u201cA New Clue.\u201d We\u2019re looking for two things in particular, though. The first is the illustration on page 15<\/strong> (if you start counting from the title page). The illustration is of the protagonist sitting on a grid that looks an awful lot like the Mount Holly. There\u2019s a vase and sledgehammer with him in the square that corresponds to the Entrance Hall.<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

The second clue is more elaborate. On page 6 <\/strong>(starting from the title page), there are some barely noticeable numbers after some of the words. Look for those numbers and take the words in order from 1 to 12<\/strong> for the first part of the clue. It reads, \u201cAll checked corner case rooms had a low case clue found in the rooms.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

Back on page 5<\/strong>, there\u2019s a list labeled \u201cCorner Cases,\u201d<\/strong> indicating six rooms. And four of those cases (rooms<\/strong>) have a checkmark.<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

In those rooms, there are notes. Each note has one word in low(er) case<\/strong>, like the clue said. If you check each of them, you\u2019ll find the last part of the clue: \u201cBuried beside west bridge.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Below, we\u2019ll show you where to find the second and third Microchips.<\/p>\n

Where to find the second Microchip in Blue Prince<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

With the clue from \u201cA New Clue,\u201d all you have to do to find the second Microchip is take a Sledgehammer<\/strong> to the Entrance Hall<\/strong>. On the south side of the room, there\u2019s a pair of vases. When you walk up to them, you\u2019ll get a smash icon. One of them will have the second Microchip<\/strong> inside.<\/p>\n

\n

Where to find the third Microchip in Blue Prince<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

Based on the clue(s) in \u201cA New Clue,\u201d the final Microchip is buried beside<\/strong> (the) west bridge<\/strong>. That\u2019s referring to that small bridge you cross on the way to the Outer Room along the West Path<\/a> that you unlock via the Garage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first thing you\u2019ll need is a Shovel<\/strong>. Then, as you\u2019re heading toward the Outer Room, step off the path to the right (north). A dig icon will pop up. That\u2019s where you\u2019ll find the third Microchip<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

Microchips solution and reward in Blue Prince<\/h2>\n

As you find the Microchips, return them to Blackbridge Grotto. Once you place all three, you\u2019ll get a flashy cutscene and a new door will open at the back of the server room.<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

Follow the stairs through the Orindian Ruins<\/strong>. At the far end, you\u2019ll find the blueprint for the Throne Room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
