Marvel Rivals<\/a><\/em> is about to start getting new heroes every month as the length of its seasons gets shorter, creative director Guangyun Chen said in an update video<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Starting with season 3, Marvel Rivals<\/em> seasons will last two months instead of three, which means we\u2019ll get a new hero at the start of the season and halfway through.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter extensive internal discussions and thorough evaluations, we\u2019ve decided that starting from season 3, the seasons will shift to a two-month format, with a new hero debuting each month,\u201d Chen said.<\/p>\n

The shorter time frame means things like the rate at which you can earn in-game currency and unlock cosmetics on the battle pass will have to change. Those details, Chen says, will be clarified before the launch of season 3, which should be in early July.<\/p>\n
