Armor<\/strong> is your primary means of staying safe (and stylish!) in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll expand both Naoe\u2019s and Yasuke\u2019s wardrobes as you play, through a mix of natural main story<\/a> progression and exploration. Each armor piece can improve each character\u2019s health and other stats, while some also feature powerful passive perks. As such, it\u2019s worth tracking down as much armor as you can.<\/p>\n

In this in-progress Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/em> guide, we\u2019ll detail every armor piece we\u2019ve found so far and explain how to get them.<\/p>\n

Armor list in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/h2>\n

There are two armor types in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/em>: head armor<\/strong> and body armor<\/strong>. And each character \u2014 Naoe or Yasuke<\/a> \u2014 has their own unique armor sets.<\/p>\n

Although you can find plenty of armor in randomized loot boxes, some armor pieces are linked to specific locations. This is the case for all armor of legendary rarity, which is usually found within large castles, but also for some epic and even uncommon armor pieces. Those armor pieces tend to have additional perks beyond their base stats.<\/p>\n

Each armor piece will boost Naoe\u2019s or Yasuke\u2019s health and critical hit damage. These stat boosts scale with the armor piece\u2019s level, and new armor that you find scales alongside your level.<\/p>\n

Also, once you\u2019ve unlocked a piece of armor, you permanently unlock it as an option for visual customization. No need to hold onto it \u2014 you can sell for mon or dismantle for resources with abandon.<\/p>\n

In the table below, see an overview of all armor in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/strong> we\u2019ve found so far. Note that some armor (typically of higher rarity levels) is a reward from a fixed location or mission. In those cases, we\u2019ve noted the province you get it in. In other cases, where armor drops as randomized loot, we\u2019ve simply marked the province as \u201cN\/A.\u201d<\/p>\n

Below, we\u2019ll show you where to find and how to get all fixed armor drops in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/em>, broken up by province \u2014 and generally in the order in which you go through these provinces in the main story<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Note that this guide is in-progress, and we\u2019ll update it as we find more armor pieces in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/em>.<\/p>\n

How to get legendary armor in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/h2>\n

Beware that most legendary armor is hidden away in castles defended by Samurai Daisho<\/strong>. The armor is always stashed in a legendary chest, but this chest won\u2019t open until you defeat the required number of Samurai Daisho (between one and five per castle). You\u2019ll earn mastery points<\/a> as you defeat them, though.<\/p>\n

Look at the picture above to see what a Samurai Daisho looks like \u2014 they\u2019re usually the toughest guys around, so be prepared for an intense fight! (Alternatively, you can turn on the \u201cguaranteed assassinations\u201d setting and sneak up on them as Naoe.)<\/p>\n

Izumi Settsu armor locations<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s an overview of all armor locations in Izumi Settsu. This is where you\u2019re really let loose into the open world of Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/em>, so this region is the perfect place to loot your first legendary armor.<\/p>\n
