How do Pok\u00e9mon Home transfers work?<\/h2>\n

Doing this lets you transfer eligible Pok\u00e9mon to Pok\u00e9mon Sword<\/em> and Shield<\/em>, Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em> and Violet<\/em>, Pok\u00e9mon Brilliant Diamond<\/em> and Shining Pearl<\/em>, and even Pok\u00e9mon Legends Arceus<\/em> (and presumably, future games), though you\u2019ll need Pok\u00e9mon Home installed on your Nintendo Switch to do so. From the Nintendo Switch app, you can simply move the transferred Pok\u00e9mon into the PC boxes for your Switch games and the Home storage system.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that transfers are permanent. Once you move your Pok\u00e9mon from Go <\/em>to Home, you can\u2019t move them back.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to set up Pok\u00e9mon Home on your Phone<\/h2>\n

Download Pok\u00e9mon Home <\/strong>on your phone, launch it, and log in with your Nintendo account. Pok\u00e9mon Home is available on iOS<\/a>, Android<\/a>, and Nintendo Switch<\/a>. Pok\u00e9mon Home has a subscription system. It costs $2.99 a month, $4.99 for three months, and $15.99 for 12 months. The subscription allows you to store more Pok\u00e9mon. Without it, you\u2019ll only be able to hold 30 at a time<\/strong>. With a subscription, you can hold up to 6,000 Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need the subscription to transfer Pok\u00e9mon, but you will if you plan on holding more than 30 Pok\u00e9mon in Pok\u00e9mon Home.<\/p>\n

How to link your Pok\u00e9mon Go account to Pok\u00e9mon Home<\/h2>\n

To link your accounts, open your settings in Pok\u00e9mon Go <\/em>by tapping the settings gear (visible at the top right when you tap the Pok\u00e9 Ball menu icon). Select \u201cConnected Devices and Services\u201d and then \u201cPok\u00e9mon Home.\u201d When prompted, sign in with your Nintendo account. Make sure the Nintendo account you use here is the same one you use on your Pok\u00e9mon Home account.<\/p>\n

How to transfer to Pok\u00e9mon Home from Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/h2>\n

Once your accounts are linked, you can transfer Pok\u00e9mon using the Go Transporter<\/strong>. To do this, go to your settings, select \u201cConnected Devices and Services\u201d again, \u201cPok\u00e9mon Home,\u201d and then hit \u201cSend Pok\u00e9mon.\u201d<\/p>\n
