This guide covers the Gore Magala weaknesses and resistances so you can prepare accordingly, where to find it, and the best strategy to defeat one of the tougher monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Gore Magala<\/strong> location<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You\u2019ll first encounter Gore Magala in Chapter 5, during the \u201cA World Turned Upside Down\u201d main mission<\/a>. As such, all you need to do to unlock the monster is progress through the main questline. In case you\u2019re only getting started, the chapter takes place during the High Rank<\/a> portion of the game.<\/p>\n

Gore Magala only roams around the Cliffs biome, and can usually be found around Area 16<\/strong>. Since Gore Magala is a flying monster, it\u2019s likely to move, so keep an eye out on the map.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that in Monster Hunter Wilds<\/em>, tracking monsters isn\u2019t really a prominent feature. Except for a few first-time exceptions, you can use the Environment Overview screen to see if your target is roaming around the map. Gore Magala is part of the main story of Monster Hunter Wilds<\/em>. As such, its encounter is likely to fit your Hunter Rank at that corresponding moment. Since the encounter occurs during a main mission, you\u2019ll be thrust into the fray after the introductory cutscene. As per usual, whenever you\u2019re asked if you\u2019re ready to depart, make sure that you\u2019re carrying regular and mega potions<\/a><\/strong> with you. If you\u2019re short on the latter, take a lap around the biome and loot any honey you come across.<\/p>\n

In addition, don\u2019t forget to eat \u2014 you can use the portable BBQ to grill a meal<\/a>. Increasing your health and stamina is essential, as Gore Magala is a formidable creature. The first encompasses Flaming Ammo, Torch Pod, Fire Attack, Critical Element, and Charge Master. The second encompasses Thunder Ammo, Thunder Pod, Thunder Attack, Critical Element, and Charge Master. The third encompasses Dragon Ammo, Dragon Pod, Dragon Attack, Critical Element, and Charge Master. All three are in addition to your own weapon\u2019s properties.<\/p>\n
