To help you along the way, we\u2019ve put together a list of the top Pok\u00e9mon and their optimal movesets.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"scroll-cup-great-league-edition-restrictions\"><strong>Scroll Cup: Great League Edition restrictions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Only three types of Pok\u00e9mon are allowed to enter the Scroll Cup: <strong>dark-, fighting-, and water-type Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong>. There\u2019s also a <strong>1,500 CP limit<\/strong> for each member of your team, due to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/500388\/great-league-best-team-meta\">Great League<\/a> aspect of the competition. The final restriction is that <strong>Primarina will not be allowed<\/strong> to enter the Scroll Cup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Although these rules do heavily limit your team choices, the good news is that dual-type Pok\u00e9mon are eligible to enter. For example, the electric-\/dark-type Morpeko is allowed on your team because of its secondary dark- typing. As with most of these limited-time cups, Pok\u00e9mon with dual typings tend to perform the best thanks to their unique resistances and varied movesets.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"scroll-cup-best-team\"><strong>Scroll Cup best team<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Here\u2019s one of the best teams you can use for the Scroll Cup in <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Toxapex<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gastrodon<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Annihilape<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As well as being great Pok\u00e9mon for the 1,500 CP format in general, all three have dual typings that give them an advantage against several Pok\u00e9mon you\u2019ll likely encounter in the Scroll Cup. You\u2019ll also have access to a wide variety of moves, including fighting-, ghost-, ground-, ice-, normal-, poison-, and water-type attacks. This reduces your chances of being caught off guard with a Pok\u00e9mon that you can\u2019t counter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Running the format through <a href=\"https:\/\/pvpoke.com\/\">PvPoke\u2019s simulator<\/a> shows that <strong>Toxapex <\/strong>is expected to be the number-one Pok\u00e9mon in the Scroll Cup. Not only does it have an astonishingly high defense stat, it also has eight type resistances, including fighting-type and water-type attacks, which puts it in an excellent position to outlast your opponents on the battlefield.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"><strong>Gastrodon <\/strong>is another incredibly bulky Pok\u00e9mon that you\u2019ll want on your team. It\u2019s got a great moveset, neutral coverage thanks to the charged attack Body Slam, and just one weakness to worry about: grass-type attacks. Even better, it\u2019s a solid counter for some of the biggest threats in the Scroll Cup, including Sableye, Morpeko, and Toxapex.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Rounding out our team recommendation is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/24043946\/get-annihilape-how-to-evolve-primeape\"><strong>Annihilape<\/strong><\/a>. This fearsome fighting-\/ghost-type Pok\u00e9mon has been a mainstay in the Great League ever since it made its <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> debut in 2024, and it translates very well to the Scroll Cup. It\u2019s got a huge attack stat and some great moves including the top-tier fast attack Counter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">If you don\u2019t have those Pok\u00e9mon in your collection \u2014 or you don\u2019t have enough Candy and Stardust to optimize them for the Scroll Cup \u2014 there are plenty of other Pok\u00e9mon you can try instead. These include <strong>Sableye<\/strong>, <strong>Azumarill<\/strong>, <strong>Morpeko<\/strong>, <strong>Mandibuzz<\/strong>, <strong>Lanturn<\/strong>, <strong>Chesnaught<\/strong>, and <strong>Whiscash<\/strong>.
