Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em><\/a> is having a Fuecoco Community Day<\/strong> event on Saturday, March 8, from 2-5 p.m.<\/strong> in your local time.<\/p>\n

As expected with a Community Day event, Fuecoco will spawn in huge numbers with a high chance for it to appear shiny. There are also several other bonuses and perks, which we\u2019ve listed out below.<\/p>\n

How do I catch a shiny Fuecoco in Pok\u00e9mon Go?<\/h2>\n

As per old research by the now-defunct website The Silph Road (via Wayback Machine<\/a>), Shiny rates on Community Days are about 1 in 24, which means that if you keep playing throughout the three-hour window, you should find quite a few shiny Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re short on time or Pok\u00e9 Balls, you can pop an Incense, then quickly tap each Fuecoco to check for shiny ones, running from any that aren\u2019t shiny. Notably, any Fuecoco you\u2019ve already tapped will face where your player is standing, so that should help identify which ones you may have already checked.<\/p>\n

What Community Day move does Fuecoco\u2019s evolution learn?<\/h2>\n

If you evolve Crocalor into Skeledirge starting from 2 p.m. on March 8 until March 15 in your local time, it will learn the charged move Blast Burn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you miss out on evolving it during this period, you will likely be able to evolve it during a Community Day weekend event in December to get Blast Burn. If you don\u2019t want to wait, you can use an Elite TM<\/a> to get the move.<\/p>\n

How does Skeledirge do in the meta<\/h2>\n

Even with the powerful Blast Burn move, Skeledirge isn\u2019t much of a raid Pok\u00e9mon. There are tons of better options, like Darmanitan, Blaziken, and the recently-available Reshiram \u2014 just to name a few.<\/p>\n

However, for PvP, Skeledirge is a completely different story, especially in the Ultra League, according to PvPoke<\/a>. Set it up with Incinerate with Shadow Ball and Disarming Voice to cause a ruckus.<\/p>\n
