This is third side quest in Dareel and Samin\u2019s ongoing feud \u2014 you\u2019ve already caught a tracktail lizard<\/a> and a dapperwing<\/a>. Now, you need an ember rufflizard.<\/p>\n

Where to find ember rufflizards in Monster Hunter Wilds<\/h2>\n

\"Monster<\/p>\n

To find ember rufflizards, you\u2019ll have to head to the Oilwell Basin<\/strong>. Ember rufflizards like to be near lava, so you\u2019ll need to look in some of the lower areas of the basin where there\u2019s, you know, lava.<\/p>\n

Area 15 <\/strong>is a good place to start. There aren\u2019t any pop-up camps down there, but there is a lava vent<\/strong> you can set as your waypoint.<\/p>\n

Once there, ember rufflizards are pretty easy to spot. Their neon green coloration stands out pretty well against the red lava.<\/p>\n

\n

How to catch an ember rufflizard in Monster Hunter Wilds<\/h2>\n

Once you\u2019ve spotted an ember rufflizard, all that\u2019s left is to catch them. Equip your capture net<\/a><\/strong> either from the item bar or from your Essential Items radial menu.<\/p>\n

\"Monster<\/p>\n

With the new rectangle reticle, approach the lizards slowly until the reticle turns yellow-orange and fire it. Just make sure you hit L2\/LT and not the usual square\/X.<\/p>\n

With the quest complete, you\u2019ll can pick up another side quest, \u201cSamin\u2019s Research Report (Cont.),\u201d which has you track down a rime beetle.<\/p>\n
