This spring has all kinds of exciting movies, and maybe even a few of the best and biggest movies of the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As you might expect, the biggest highlights are movies in the big franchises. The MCU is bringing out <em>Thunderbolts*<\/em> led by Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, while Tom Cruise is returning for what could be the (or at least his) last Mission: Impossible movie ever. Meanwhile, Disney is all in on live-action remakes, with <em>Snow White<\/em> and <em>Lilo &amp; Stitch<\/em> due out in the next few months. The twist: They\u2019re living in a post-robot-apocalypse world where the robots have all been banned to a wasteland. Early looks at this one have a strong <em>A.I. Jordan and, well, Michael B. Jordan as a pair of twins menaced by a supernatural force in the 1930s. The initial trailer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bKGxHflevuk&amp;ab_channel=WarnerBros.\">looks slick, confident, and hard-hitting<\/a> \u2014&nbsp;somewhere between a ghost story and a bootlegger crime thriller. But the marketing has deliberately kept most facts about the movie under wraps, leaving the real nature of the horror here thrillingly opaque.&nbsp;\u2014<em>TR<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\">Until Dawn<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/the-20-most-exciting-movies-of-spring-2025-3.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"><strong>Release date:<\/strong> April 25<br \/><strong>Director:<\/strong> David F. Sandberg<br \/><strong>Cast:<\/strong> Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A\u2019zion<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">The sort-of movie adaptation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/game\/until-dawn\/4638\">2015 horror game <em>Until Dawn<\/em><\/a> puts a few new twists on the story, uniting some squabbling characters against an immediately obvious supernatural evil, and setting the story in a time loop, where different horrific monsters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/horror\/510158\/until-dawn-movie-trailer-release-date-genre\">kill the characters every night<\/a>, setting up a scenario where they have to out-think the setting and escape the loop before their 13th and final death.
