And it seems that the folks behind the Razzies feel similarly, nominating it for no less than six Razzie Awards: Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Supporting Actor (dual nominations for Shia LeBeouf and John Voight), and Worst Screen Combo (for \u201cThe Entire Cast of <em>Megalopolis<\/em>\u201d). It was only awarded Worst Director and Worst Supporting Actor (John Voight), however, being beaten in most of its other categories by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/reviews\/24071362\/madame-web-review-post-credits-scene-sequel-teaser-bad\">Madame Web<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">\u201cI am thrilled to accept the\u00a0Razzie\u00a0award\u00a0in so many important categories for @megalopolisfilm,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DGnvW5RprbL\/?hl=en\">Coppola wrote on Instagram<\/a>, \u201cand for\u00a0the distinctive honor of being nominated as the worst director, worst screenplay, and worst picture at a time when so few have the courage to go against the prevailing trends of contemporary moviemaking!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">It\u2019s not exactly a surprising response, from a guy who released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/movies\/442586\/megalopolis-trailer-critics-are-haters\">a trailer for <em>Megalopolis<\/em> that doubled as a roastfest<\/a> for critics who\u2019d panned his better-regarded films.
