Inkay is not a confirmed Pok\u00e9mon that gets a \u201cpermaboost\u201d (meaning that it\u2019s a rare spawn and thus gets a boosted shiny rate).<\/p>\n

What can I do to attract more shiny Pok\u00e9mon?<\/h2>\n

Not much, unfortunately. It appears to be random chance. Shiny Pok\u00e9mon catch rates are set by developer Niantic, and they are typically only boosted during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones, or in Legendary Raids. There are no consumable items that boost shiny Pok\u00e9mon rates.<\/p>\n
