Space Marine 2<\/em>\u2019s main campaign can be polished off in a few hours, but Saber Interactive has continued to update the game with new operations and multiplayer features. On Thursday, Saber announced the third major content update<\/a> for the game. Dubbed Datavault, the patch adds a new chamber to the battle barge, lots of new cosmetics, a new PvP map, and the terrifying Tyranid Biovore.<\/p>\n

In Space Marine 2<\/em>, the player can either serve as Commander Titus for the main story, or they can take part in ancillary Operations. These missions are not critical to the main campaign, but they take place around the story, explaining how certain military maneuvers were pulled off. While queueing for Operations or the game\u2019s PvP mode, they can hang out on the Ultramarine battle barge. Now, the battle barge has the titular Datavault, a chamber where Tech-Priests catalogue data on the game\u2019s enemies. Players can compete challenges to earn that data, which accumulates a research data currency that can be turned into sweet, sweet power armor pieces and weapon skins.<\/p>\n
