Rather than running on foot, you can glide clear of the incoming Storm Circle and avoid danger altogether.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">However, launch pads are very rare and pretty difficult to find as they only appear as traps.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Here\u2019s where to find a launch pad and how to use it in Fortnite OG.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to find a launch pad in Fortnite OG<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Launch pads only appear as traps in Fortnite OG \u2014 meaning they\u2019re not preplaced on the map. In order words, <strong>launch pads appear as random loot on the floor<\/strong> <strong>or in chests and supply drops<\/strong>. You\u2019ll have to get a little lucky, or search a <em>ton<\/em> of chests around the map.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Some of the best locations to search are <strong>Greasy Grove<\/strong>, <strong>Retail Row<\/strong>, <strong>Lonely Lodge<\/strong>, and <strong>Pleasant Park<\/strong> due to the amount of loot you can find in the area. Tilted Towers is also a great location to search, but it\u2019s a heavily contested landing spot. If you\u2019re feeling confident, go for it! If not, it\u2019s best to land elsewhere.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to use the launch pad in Fortnite OG<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/where-to-find-a-launch-pad-in-fortnite-og-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">To use the launch pad, you\u2019ll need to find a flat surface that isn\u2019t the bare ground.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">If you\u2019re playing in the classic Fortnite OG, you can build a platform to place the launch pad on. For those in No Build, you may need to destroy the roof of a building to reveal the floor beneath it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Once you\u2019ve found or made a flat surface, place the launch pad onto the platform and jump on it to fly into the air. That is easier said than done, as launch pads are already a rare drop, but you won\u2019t travel anywhere close to 1,000 units in one jump.
