But we don\u2019t see Control\u2019s holographic guise until the movie\u2019s final scenes, when the victorious team is celebrating. That\u2019s when <em>Section 31<\/em> reveals that Control\u2019s voice and digital persona are provided by none other than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/reviews\/23402987\/halloween-ends-review-michael-myers\">Halloween franchise<\/a> and <em>Freaky Friday<\/em> star Jamie Lee Curtis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"><em>Section 31<\/em>\u2019s executive producer Alex Kurtzman and director Olatunde Osunsanmi carefully kept mum when Polygon asked how Curtis\u2019 cameo came together, not wanting to spoil anything. But Yeoh gushed when we brought up her <em>Everything Everywhere All at Once<\/em> costar, raising her hands in the shape of a heart. And she confirmed she was a part of bringing Curtis into <em>Section 31<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">\u201cYes! Oh yes, of course,\u201d Yeoh said. \u201cI was a little apprehensive, you know, it&#8217;s like \u2018should I\u2026?\u2019 And then someone said, \u2018do it, because she will expect that from you.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018OK!\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Curtis has become known for her nerdy hobbies, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/2015\/7\/18\/8998945\/jamie-lee-curtis-evo-2015-cosplay-vega\">video games and cosplay<\/a>, but was she a fan of Star Trek, or just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/commentisfree\/2023\/jan\/12\/jamie-lee-curtis-michelle-yeoh-golden-globes\">best buddies with Yeoh<\/a>?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">\u201cShe doesn&#8217;t do anything she doesn&#8217;t believe in,\u201d Yeoh said, with confidence. \u201cFirst of all, I have complete faith in that. And I do also have faith that she did it because she loved me. I believe that. [<em>Laughs<\/em>] [&#8230;] And she did such an incredible job.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">It\u2019s a fair contrast from the last time we saw the Control artificial intelligence, as the faceless, bodiless big villain of the second season of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/22924014\/star-trek-discovery-character-emotions\">Star Trek: Discovery<\/a><\/em> (which is set after the events of <em>Section 31<\/em>).
