Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em><\/a> is having a Ralts Community Day Classic<\/strong> event on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 2-5 p.m.<\/strong> in your local time.<\/p>\n

As expected with a Community Day event, Ralts will spawn in huge numbers with a high chance for it to appear shiny. There are also several other bonuses and perks, which we\u2019ve listed out below.<\/p>\n

How do I catch a shiny Ralts in Pok\u00e9mon Go?<\/h2>\n

As per old research by the now-defunct website The Silph Road (via Wayback Machine<\/a>), Shiny rates on Community Days are about 1 in 24, which means that if you keep playing throughout the three-hour window, you should find quite a few shiny Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re short on time or Pok\u00e9 Balls, you can pop an Incense, then quickly tap each Ralts to check for shiny ones, running from any that aren\u2019t shiny. Notably, any Ralts you\u2019ve already tapped will face where your player is standing, so that should help identify which ones you may have already checked.<\/p>\n

What Community Day move does Ralts\u2019 evolution learn?<\/h2>\n

If you evolve Kirlia into Gardevoir or Gallade from the start of the Community Day until Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. in your local time, it will learn the charged move Synchronoise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you miss out on evolving it during this period, you will likely be able to evolve it during a Community Day weekend event in December to get Synchronoise. If you don\u2019t want to wait, you can use an Elite TM<\/a> to get the move.<\/p>\n

How does Gardevoir and Gallade do in the meta<\/h2>\n

Both Gardevoir and Gallade can Mega Evolve and both of their megas hit pretty close to the top of the DPS charts, so it\u2019s worth grabbing strong ones, even if you don\u2019t have the Mega Energy on hand.<\/p>\n

Mega Gardevoir is THE<\/em> fairy-type attacker<\/strong> when set up with Charm <\/strong>and Dazzling Gleam<\/strong>. Shadow Gardevoir doesn\u2019t fall far behind it, though regular Gardevoir does drop down the rankings significantly when you factor some Legendary Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir are both pretty good psychic-type attackers<\/strong>, with Gallade squeaking out above Gardevoir, when set up with Confusion <\/strong>and Psychic<\/strong>. Their shadow and regular versions fall behind significantly, but still can be used if you don\u2019t have the many Legendary Pok\u00e9mon that fill in the gap between them.<\/p>\n

Gardevoir and Gallade do see some<\/em> PvP use, with Gallade doing better than Gardevoir, so it may be worth investing in to if you want.<\/p>\n
