Shroodle <\/strong>makes its debut in <\/strong>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a><\/em> as part of Jan. 2025\u2019s \u201cFashion Week: Taken Over\u201d event.<\/p>\n

The Gen 9 poison- and normal-type has a single evolution, Grafaiai<\/strong>, which can also be added to your Pok\u00e9dex with enough candy.<\/p>\n

Similar to many recent new Pok\u00e9mon in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em>, Shroodle cannot be found in the wild, and instead, is only discovered through hatching eggs.<\/p>\n

How to get Shroodle in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Making its first appearance in 2025\u2019s \u201cFashion Week: Taken Over\u201d event, Shroodle can be found by hatching 12km eggs, <\/strong>which are sourced from defeating Team Go Rocket leaders<\/a> in battle.<\/p>\n

Though the requirements to get a 12km egg are steeper than other varieties, the encouraging news is when you have one, Shroodle is amongst the most common finds amongst the loot pool (thanks to ZicoThePerson on reddit<\/a> for confirming).<\/p>\n

Finally, assuming it\u2019ll work similar to previous Team Go Rocket events which have debuted new Pok\u00e9mon in 12km eggs \u2014 such as Varoom in 2024 \u2014 Shroodle will continue to be available in the loot pool once the \u201cFashion Week: Taken Over\u201d event ends on Sunday, Jan. 19.<\/p>\n

How to get Grafaiai in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To get Grafaiai in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em>, you must evolve Shroodle with 50 Candy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Without the ability to catch a Shroodle, the usual recommendations of using Pinap Berries and having an active Mega Evolution<\/a> to give you a little extra Shroodle candy don\u2019t apply here. However, when you do hatch one, you can earn Shroodle candy by having it as your buddy Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> (with the added bonus of showing it off to all your friends when gifting). <\/p>\n

Either way, don\u2019t forget you can simply spend Rare Candy to get the required candy you need for an evolution \u2014 though it\u2019s arguably better spent on legendary or mythic Pok\u00e9mon, which are harder to find and demand longer walking distances if you are sourcing candy as a buddy.<\/p>\n

Can Shroodle be shiny in in Pok\u00e9mon Go?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On its debut, Shroodle cannot be shiny in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em>. There is no indication of when a shiny version will be available, and based on previous shiny rollouts, it can often take years before you can get your hands on one. In the other words, you might be waiting a while!<\/p>\n

You can, however, already see what shiny Shroodle looks like thanks to Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet, <\/em>such as in this video from Shiny Hunters Guild on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n
