And no, this time I\u2019m not talking about the talented people recreating outfits from the game as real-life outfits to wear<\/a>. Xudahua Studio<\/a>, a creator who makes custom figurines and shares them on social media, remade the\u00a0Flutter Storm\u00a0gown in Infinity Nikki<\/em> using air-dry clay. The person recreated the entire dress \u2014 butterfly-patterned ruffles and all \u2014 completely by hand,<\/span> and the result is stunning.<\/p>\n

Developed by Papergames and InFold Games, Infinity Nikki<\/em> is a fashion-forward open-world adventure<\/a> where players explore a magical world called Miraland. The game has loads of super intricate outfits that would be a challenge to properly render in any handmade figurine. The Flutter Storm dress, alone, pairs delicate translucent silk-like ruffled layers with intricate sparkle designs that run around the dress and long gloves. Each component would be a challenge to make since so many unique elements go into the dress, but Xudahua Studio<\/span> nailed the look.<\/p>\n

You can watch a video montage<\/a> of the creation that shows Xudahua Studio<\/span> at work. The figurine comes together layer by layer, ruffle by ruffle. I particularly enjoyed watching the creator paint on all the tiny lines of sparkles on the dress \u2014 but I was also super impressed that they were able to recreate the delicate crown and flowing locks Nikki wears in this outfit.<\/p>\n
