There\u2019s a free Jeff skin<\/strong> available during the first winter event for Marvel Rivals<\/em><\/a>. Officially called the Cuddly Fuzzlefin<\/strong> costume, you\u2019ll need to play a lot of matches of Jeff\u2019s Winter Splash Festival (the new mode) before the Winter Celebration ends.<\/p>\n

In this Marvel Rivals <\/em>guide, we\u2019ll walk you through how to get the free skin for Jeff the Land Shark<\/strong> for free before the event ends, and some tips for the Jeff\u2019s Winter Splash Festival game mode.<\/p>\n

How to get the free Jeff skin in Marvel Rivals<\/h2>\n

To get the free Jeff skin in Marvel Rivals<\/em>, you have to fully unlock the Winter Celebration event card before the event ends on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. EST<\/strong>. The Cuddly Fuzzlefin costume is the last reward on the card\u2019s track.<\/p>\n

To do so, you\u2019ll need to use 10 Golden Frost<\/strong> to upgrade all five decorations on Jeff\u2019s holiday card, which will net you the 500 Wintery Atmosphere you\u2019ll need to unlock the skin and all of Jeff\u2019s other themed goodies.<\/p>\n

The Cuddly Fuzzlefin costume is not available for purchase in the Marvel Rivals<\/em> shop.<\/p>\n

How to get Golden Frost in Marvel Rivals<\/h2>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

Like Chrono Tokens or Units<\/a>, you\u2019ll earn Golden Frost by completing event-specific missions<\/strong>, which you can only complete in the Jeff\u2019s Winter Splash Festival Game mode.<\/p>\n

For every main event mission you complete, you\u2019ll get one Golden Frost, and you\u2019ll need two Golden Frosts to upgrade a single decoration on your holiday card. For each decoration you upgrade, you\u2019ll get 100 Wintery Atmosphere<\/strong>, which will enable you to unlock Cuddly Fuzzlefin-themed rewards, including a spray, an emote, a nameplate, an MVP animation, and, finally, the costume itself.<\/p>\n

There is one major caveat: You\u2019re limited in how many Golden Frost you can earn per day<\/strong>. (You start with two Golden Frost missions, but it currently looks like you\u2019ll only gain one new one each day.) This means you\u2019ll have to log into Marvel Rivals<\/em> regularly over the holidays if you want to get enough Golden Frost to unlock Jeff\u2019s festive new skin.<\/p>\n

There are other daily missions as part of the event, but they award Silver Frost, which is used to buy cosmetic-only variations on Jeff\u2019s card. While cute and festive, you don\u2019t need any Silver Frost to unlock the Cuddly Fuzzlefin costume<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tips for winning Jeff\u2019s Winter Splash Festival game<\/h2>\n

The Jeff\u2019s Winter Splash Festival game mode asks you to use a variation of Jeff \u2014 one with more winter-themed abilities \u2014 to paint the holiday version of the Yggsgard: Royal Palace map. Use Jeff\u2019s main attack to paint the ground, heal allies, and damage enemies.<\/p>\n

The mode only lasts for three minutes<\/strong>, and the team who paints the largest percentage of the map before the timer runs out is the winner.<\/p>\n

While cute, you do actually need to win in this game mode in order to unlock enough Golden Frost to get the Cuddly Fuzzlefin costume. Below, we\u2019ve listed a few tips to help you win some matches of Jeff\u2019s Winter Splash Festival and complete your daily missions:<\/p>\n
