They lived this project, especially against the backdrop of war. We wanted to give the country hope and pride, to show everyone that Ukrainians can make projects of such a high level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"><em>STALKER 2<\/em> cost GSC Game World tens of millions of dollars, the vast majority of which was spent on core development with very little apportioned for marketing, according to the report. The game\u2019s biggest market is the United States, but it was also so popular in Ukraine that downloads <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/news\/490852\/stalker-2-devs-bugs-not-perfect-but-has-soul\">strained the country\u2019s internet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Because of this success, Krippa added, <em>STALKER 2<\/em> will receive at least two expansions as well as multiplayer. No further details were provided. Krippa also believes GSC Game World can use the STALKER franchise to elevate Ukraine much like CD Projekt Red put Poland on the map with The Witcher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">\u201cI would like us to get the series on Netflix,\u201d Krippa said. \u201cSome negotiations are underway, but the issue has not yet been resolved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/review\/481607\/stalker-2-review-pc\">a rough Nov. 20 launch<\/a>, the <em>STALKER 2<\/em> experience has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/news\/490340\/stalker-2-patch-103-every-two-days\">slowly improved<\/a> with a series of substantial bug-fixing patches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">\u201cIt\u2019s not perfect, we need to fix everything, it has some problems,\u201d <em>STALKER 2<\/em> creative director Mariia Grygorovych told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/delaying-stalker-2-again-not-an-option-studio-says-team-worked-until-it-was-broken-by-marathon-development\">Eurogamer<\/a> in a story published on Dec. 4. \u201cBut it\u2019s a game!
