\u201cAncient Vows<\/strong>\u201d is a quest in Act 2 of Path of Exile 2<\/a><\/em> that tasks you with finding a mysterious relic, though you\u2019re only given one vague direction: \u201cFind a use for the Relic.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cAncient Vows\u201d quest will send you on a hunt around the Vastiri Plains of Act 2 in search for the relic\u2019s missing half. The only problem is, the quest doesn\u2019t tell you where to find it, how to get it, or even that it exists. On top of that, you\u2019ll need to find a place to put the relics. But, on the bright side, you\u2019ll receive a permanent buff for completing the quest!<\/p>\n

\u2018Ancient Vows\u2019 quest steps in POE2<\/h2>\n

The \u201cAncient Vows\u201d neatly breaks down into four steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Start the \u201cAncient Vows\u201d quest by looting the Kabala Clan Relic or the Sun Clan Relic.<\/li>\n
  2. Collect the missing relic of the two.<\/li>\n
  3. Return the relics to the altar found in the Valley of the Titans.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose one of the two buffs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u2018Ancient Vows\u2019 relic locations in POE2<\/h2>\n

    There are two relics that you need to complete the \u201cAncient Vows\u201d quest: the Kabala Clan and Sun Clan. You\u2019ve already found one to start the quest, so you\u2019ll only need to find the other. Both relics can be found as a random drop from enemies, but they\u2019re found in two different maps.<\/p>\n

    The Kabala Clan Relic can be found in The Bone Pits<\/strong>, while the Sun Clan Relic can be found in Keth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    How to use the \u2018Ancient Vows\u2019 relics in POE2<\/h2>\n

    After you\u2019ve retrieved both the Kabala Clan Relic and Sun Clan Relic, make your way to the Valley of the Titans waypoint<\/strong>. Beside the waypoint, you\u2019ll find a medallion that seems to fit both relics. Place both relics inside the medallion to complete the quest and receive a buff of your choosing.<\/p>\n

    If you\u2019re having a hard time placing the relics inside of the medallion because it keeps disappearing, head over to the settings and switch to the \u201cInterface\u201d tab. Scroll down and turn on the \u201cAlways Highlight\u201d setting to keep the medallion on your screen as your drag the relics over from your inventory.<\/p>\n

    Keep in mind that this setting will highlight items on the ground for you, so your screen might get a little cluttered if you leave it on!<\/p>\n
